” Well, I guess everything is magic in its own way…” a conversation between a father and his 7 year-old-son, in a short play called “Airplane”. Reading though the play this statement really caught my attention. If you look at the grand scheme of things, everything really is magical in its on way. Everything has its own way of doing things, and everyone has their special talents. I guess you can say that their talents are their magic, because how many people can do what one person does. Yeah she can dance like you, but does it come as naturally to her as it does to you? Or he can run, but as fast as you can? If you look at everything, everyone can do the same things, but can they do it just as good as you, or can you do it better? We all have our own “magic” that we all possess, you may not find it as easily as others do, or it may not be as prominent as you think. Just like your journey though life, you have to find your magic. You have to find you niche, and what you are good at. Don’t give up on it either, because believe it or not, we all have something we are all good at.
Can you fall out of love, can you prevent it, can you resist it? No, no and no. You can’t stop what your heart wants and you can’t stop what your heart desires. You can’t stop what is meant to be. And you certainly can’t stop where you are going. There are few decisions that you actually are making in your life. Think of your life as being set up like a spider web. Its already drawn out for you and all you have to do is decide what path you are going to take, and at each intersection if your going to turn left, right or straight. I mean if you look at it there are so many options that you could have chosen, which school to go to, what friends your going to hang out with and what sports you like if any, and with ever one of those decisions it winds you down a different direction. And this applies to love. With each person you “fall” for you pick a different route. You get directed into a new place. Weather you fall for the jock, the band geek, or the prep, each one of these will bring you down a different path and a different situation. With these paths you will encounter new friends, new experiences and new roles. There is no stopping what happens to you in your “road” of life. Yes you can try and stop or prevent or forget for that matter what has happened or what is going to happen, but if it is meant to be, then you really can’t stop it. No matter how hard your struggle is in your web, it was spun that way for a reason. How else are you supposed to become the person you are without some trail and error. So next time your life gets to be tough, just think how much stronger it is making you.

To love or not to love, that is life’s true question. I mean how are you truly supposed to know if you are supposed to be with someone unless you give it a shot. Do you want to live life as a closed book, one that hasn’t been read, or an open on that has been read a million times. You can’t stay closed for ever. Someone has to read you at least once. Or else how are you supposed to live. You can’t say you have lived unless you have loved. The only difference between lived and loved is one letter. So why not take the chance. I mean that’s what love is about taking a chance right? So why not. Put yourself out there, yes your going to get hurt, but that’s what makes you grow as a person. You can’t stop your self from getting hurt, and you can’t stop yourself from falling in love, you can try, but you can’t stop what your heart wants. You have to give love a shot, how else are you supposed to know what it feels like? How are you supposed to know what true happiness feels like. The spontaneity, the ecstasy, the joy of having someone care about you and love you the way you love them. So don’t close yourself off, and don’t be causation, yes you will get hurt yes you have been hurt, but its all apart of the journey. The journey to live.
